Now that you have received your DEFT gear, it’s time to talk about how to take care of your items. We recommend that a few simple steps are followed to ensure that you will get the most out of our garments.

What we do recommend:

• Washing at temperatures of below 30°C
• Use quality washing detergent
• Hand washing & cold water (or delicate wash cycle)
• Hang/air drying out of direct sunlight
• Closing all zips and velcro straps before washing

Ensure to avoid:

• Washing dark and bright colours separately
• Using Bleach or Fabric Softener
• Tumble Drying or Dry Cleaning
• Ironing or Soaking DEFT Apparel for an extended period of time
• Cheap Detergents – these can cause premature breaking down of the elastic content in many materials utilized in our construction
